In plain language: Read the claim, the response and the outcome together. A claim is what someone says happened; it is not automatically a court finding. Open the original record to check the details.

What do these terms mean?
Allegation or pleading
What a party claims. It has not necessarily been accepted by a court.
Defence or response
The other party’s position. Read it beside the claim.
Procedural step
Something that happened in the case, not necessarily a decision about who was right.
Judgment or order
A court decision. Its scope, date and any later appeal still matter.

Subject: MFG date
Good afternoon Victor
There is something that has come to my attention and I need to express my concern. When
some of the scissors and booms arrived this year, Dan was asked to change the serial
plates to represent the manufacture date from 2023 to 20241 expressed concern about
this but didn't push to hard, now yesterday I was told that the updated 4047DC units from
Can lift that are now CSA certified are getting new serial plates with a manufacturing date
of 2024 but the units are actually ranging from 2020 to 2022 manufacturing years. This is of
great concern as, if there was ever an accident and it was investigated XCMG Canada as
well as management that were aware of this could face grave consequences. In Canada
scissors and booms have to be NOT tested after the initial ten years and then every five
years after. Since these units are already between two and four years old the NOT
requirements will be greatly affected.
Thanks
Jim
